Job Purpose

The Digital Skills / IT Systems Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality digital and IT training programmes to learners, staff, and external clients. The role involves teaching practical digital skills, supporting learners in developing confidence with technology, and ensuring training aligns with current industry standards and organisational objectives.

The trainer will support learners with essential digital competencies, IT systems usage, online safety, and workplace technology skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assesses IT training requirements of an organisation or individual and identifies the skills needed for certain roles or tasks
  • Develops training programme and prepares IT equipment, lectures, demonstrations and study aids
  • Supervises trainee development, assists trainees with difficulties and prepares regular progress reports on each trainee for management
  • Arranges work experience and instructional visits for trainees
  • Plans curriculum and rota of staff duties and updates or amends them in light of developments
  • Advises on training programmes and discusses progress or problems with staff and trainees

Teach a range of digital skills including:

  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Email and internet usage
  • Online safety and cyber awareness
  • Digital communication tools
  • Data entry and information management
  • E-learning platforms and virtual learning environments

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

  • Qualification in IT, Digital Skills, Education, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and common digital systems.
  • Experience delivering training or supporting learners/adults in an educational or workplace setting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to support learners with different abilities and backgrounds.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and data protection requirements.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs).
  • Knowledge of digital inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience in Further Education, Adult Learning, or Apprenticeships.
  • ICT or digital skills certifications.
  • Basic troubleshooting or IT support experience.

Project Support Officer

The Project Support Officer will provide operational and administrative support to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of organisational projects across Amba-Qual Group Limited’s core service areas, including professional training programmes, consulting services, and organisational development initiatives.
The role will assist senior management in monitoring project progress, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and supporting the implementation of systems that improve organisational efficiency and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the compilation, logging, sending and receiving of all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including data books, design packs, change control requests, BOMs, variation quotations, resource requests etc.
  • Perform project related administrative tasks such as photocopying / binding / filing and other ad-hoc tasks to support the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
  • Raising procurement requests in line with project plans, BOM updates and updates to material delivery dates when instructed by the Procurement department.
  • Participate in project update meetings and minute-taking when required.
  • Coordination of subcontractors, site welfare, 3rd parties and design approvers and appraisers etc. to ensure purchase orders are in place and up to date delivery/completion dates are communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project update meetings including booking of meeting rooms and issuing invites to participants.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous Administration-related experience in an office environment.
  • Desire to Progress.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and set deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of the MS Suite of applications. (Such as Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Ability to work within given deadlines as part of a team or individually.
  • Can-do attitude
